Work sessions are intended for the Board to receive and discuss information from staff regarding district operations, new projects and programs, and talk with staff about their thoughts prior to making a decision in a business meeting. prior to their business meeting that starts at approximately 7 :15/7:30 p.m. The Board generally meets in a work session at 6 :00 p.m. Executive sessions are closed to all members of the public except for representatives of the news media. The MACRD Board may meet in executive session pursuant to state statutes.
If that is not possible, written materials will be provided to the Board of Directors following the meeting, which may be after MACRD Board action. Individuals who wish to also offer written materials or letters related to his or her in-person comments are asked to submit them to least 48 hours in advance of the MACRD Board meeting. Visitors are asked to limit their remarks to three minutes or less. Those who wish to address the MACRD Board are asked to complete a public comment card and state their name and address at the beginning of their remarks to the MACRD Board. Visitors are invited to address the MACRD Board following the call to order.

In her free time, Jillisa enjoys walking, hiking, gathering traditional/first foods with herįamily, supporting her niece and nephew in everything they do, and spending time withįun fact: Jillisa has participated in the North American Indigenous Games in both Canada and Colorado for the Team Oregon youth basketball team.
Jillisa is excited to serve as a member of the board and looks forward to building relationships, community and representation. Promotion/prevention, community care, and collective healing & wellness. Native youth, families, and community members. She coordinates the Papalaxsimisha program which is a dropout prevention and college & career readiness program that is specific to Jillisa is currently employed with the Health & Human Services branch in Warm Springs and works as a prevention coordinator. She has obtained a Bachelors of Science in Social Work from Portland State University. Jillisa graduated from Madras High School in 2010. She is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Jillisa Suppah - Board Suppah was born in Madras and raised in Simnasho Oregon on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation. She began serving on the MACRD Board of Directors in 2015 to support and promote what she believes is one of the most important local resources for improving health and well being of all ages in Jefferson County. She is passionate about sports and the lifelong importance of learning to swim. She previously worked for 7 years as a lifeguard and swim instructor and also played club water polo at Linfield College. Jinnell and her husband have 4 children who are active on the swim team, in swim lessons, and often swim at the MAC during rec swim. Jinnell also works at the hospital in the inpatient setting and family birthing center where she delivers babies. She is currently working as a family practice doctor for St. Jinnell Lewis moved to Madras in 2014 after completing OHSU Family Medicine Residency in Klamath Falls.
